Múzeum Étterem

Múzeum Café and Restaurant belongs to the best traditional Hungarian restaurants and is operating in Pest’s historical downtown since 1885.
Because its past and tradition represents durable values in the Hungarian gastronomy and Hungarian taste it is arranged with the newest technology. The menu offers gently modernized masterpieces from the Hungarian - and international cuisines, with experienced selection of the national wines – and brandies
The walls are covered in tiles from the world-famous Zsolnay porcelain works. The unique hand-carved wood paneling is under the protection of the Preservation Trust. The jewel of the piano room is a painted ceiling by Károly Lotz, entitled Csikosverseny. Another unique feature is an original 19th century Venetian mirror.
